I will give you a bit of a hint on this college story - it invovles a campus of the future with 100k students; a party of thousands where everything goes, a unique style of key game televised via the campus net, and a couple of insanely twisted plots with a team of football jocks and a nerdish lady whos nickname is 'old swamp rat.'

I am having no end of fun rewriting this one. Maybe too much.

Also waiting for CAW 11 to arrive; hope it will be worth it.

thanks for reading ch 7 of the story; the next chapter will wrap it up. I only managed to get eight entire chapters out of it, yet the one I am rewriting now will probably, for the sheer sexuality of it, put this one to shame.

HCB - thanks for reading the story of mine, part five/six are up (each was short so I merged them into one). This story I wrote - the background fights and such, is meant to be true hillarity; in thinking of the leaders of Pacifica, why not a bunch of psychotic musicians or such?

The backdrop, and the soon to happen cannonade are meant to be absurd to the point of hillarity.

Thanks - down the line I have a story (still tweaking it up) that is a benny hill spoof of a battle (with appropriate romantic actions); one part has a civil war artillery barage carried out using hardtack biscuits and loaves of bread.

The opposing artillery is using navy guns, with an admiral in charge firing - what else - navy beans.

My gramps use to tell tales of his being a boy and discovering the still the local preacher used to operate. White lightning, when I was writing the story I thought it would make a nice little twist to it.

35 years? My God! My grandfather told me of that stuff, and after that long of time you could run a warship or an airplane off the stuff!!!

glad you liked the story; I figured the monks making moonshine would be a nice little twist to the whole scene...after all, if one figured how to make nitro why not a simple brew of 'ethanol'

I have four more short ones written. right now the only way I really could expand on the story is to include more 'the mummy (library)' style chaos scenes. though with Brother Douglas (the 'oh dear...' alchemist) makes it fairly easy.
